Logged out - Poem by Dr. Swatee Miittal

It’s been months you’ve been in mental coma,

Lying on the bed,

Looking at the screen, blinking mindlessly, trying to remember a mission long forgotten.

The box of desire locked, keys missing,

You know this feeling, this uncomfortable familiar feeling,

Of living with a hole in your heart.

The constant vicious circle of hope & despair, waking up & losing yourself again.

Wrapped in a blanket of numbness, you are safe, or so you think.

Let me ask you this,

When are you going to Log OUT to finally Log INTO your  LIFE again ?

Are you really safe ?

Or are you just Logged Out ?
