About Dr. Swatee
Swatee, a storyteller and director, finds solace in writing at quaint hill cafes with her fur buddy, Funny, by her side. Her decade-long journey with hypothyroidism inspires her to explore themes of mental health and self-acceptance in her stories and poems, creating a relatable space for countless women facing similar challenges.
Before dedicating herself to writing, she honed her storytelling prowess as the Director of BrandStories, collaborating on national campaigns with esteemed organizations like the World Bank and Election Commission of India.
Having received honors in Philosophy and a Gold Medal in Theatre from Miranda House, Delhi University, her creative journey began at the National School of Drama, New Delhi, and the New York Film Academy, Mumbai. Her Ph.D. in Theatre (Performing Arts) adds depth to her artistic endeavors.
Founder of “Stories of Kindness,” Swatee shares real acts of kindness through her audio and video podcasting platform, spreading positivity and compassion in the world.
Her remarkable achievements, including the International Inspiring Women Awards and The Philip Kotler Indian Achiever’s Award, attest to her dedication and excellence in storytelling.
